Andersen’s fairy tale “The Ugly Duckling” reffers to us all, pointing to a ubiquitous problem that arises as a challenge to the youngest members of our society’s most vulnerable period in their development. Non acceptance of “different” is a serious phenomenon that affects all segments of our society.
A young directress Elma Islamovic directed this beautiful fairy tale for children aged four to nine years. ,,The ugly duckling” concerns all of us.It points to a ubiquitous problem that arises as a challange to the youngest in the most vulnerable period of their development.A lack of acceptence of a ”different one” is a serious phenomenon that affects all segmets of our society.
Everything about this show was lovely – acting,costumes,set and songs.One of the happiest shows of the East West Centre.
