The young generation of the East West Theatre Company’s actors is led by Amar Selimović, whose leading role in Shakespeare’Hamlet was met by great critical and audience acclaim (The Best Young Actor Award at the 2005 International Theatre Festival MES Sarajevo), as well as those in Faust and Copenhagen andRebellion at the National Theatre. Maja Izetbegović and Irma Alimanović joined the company in 2006 playing in Faust. Lidija Stevanović is a member of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad (Serbia) and has been working with Haris Pašović for more than 20 years (Faust, Marat/Sade, The Christmas Tree at the Ivanov’s, etc.). Nusmir Alimanović and Maja Zećo joined the company in 2007 and 2008 respectively. Samir Karić and Amir Muminović are hip-hoppers coming from a small village of Hajvazi in North-East Bosnia; they joined the company in 2008. Kemal Čebo, actor and a hip hoper, joined the company in 2009.
